The performance of Audi RS3 on frozen roads is absolutely amazing and real fun
A test team has tested the Audi RS3 on the country roads of Rome where it faced very tight surroundings and seriously sharp turns around the Vallelunga Circuit. A most powerful 2.5-litre turbocharged
Audi engine is leading the RS3 this time. It returns massive power figures with 362bhp and 465Nm of torque.
It outreaches both of its hot rivals, the 355bhp Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG and the 320bhp Focus RS. It covers zero to 62 miles per hour in 4.3 seconds, which is three-tenth faster than the preceding models. Rated top speed of new RS3 is limited to 174mph.
Figures seems very promising and urges the driver to take this
beasty hatch for a wild ride. Before riding this all-new hot hatch, you would not know what you have been missing, thanks to VW group’s aluminium
MQB chassis, RS3 is extremely lightweight and fun to drive. It weighs 55kg less than the older RS3.
Despite the 27bhp bump in the power, it has become over 12 per cent cleaner than its predecessors. Mountainous torque is available from only 1,625 rpm and it continues till it reaches 5,550 rpm. Drive it like a pro and keep the environment cleaner, with claimed economy of 34.9mpg and 189g/km.
For the briefest flash, driver will sense all four wheels engaging before they bite-in and push you down the road. It offers the brutality that usually is connected to or reserved for the supercars. The all new RS3 is a pretty piece of metal, which is huge, straight, powerful yet lightweight, offering bullet-proof powertrain and strong straight acceleration. Drivers feel the vibes of that mighty five cylinder Quattro engine right in their spine and love the sound of it roaring under the hood.
