The new Audi S3 engine is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Few little hints point put to a performance hatchback, you could be forgiven for thinking it’s just another Audi S3 with some fancy alloys on. The new Audi S3 has under the hood a 296bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to Audi’s S tronic dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission which will take the car from 0-62mph in just 5.1 seconds and electronically limited top speed of 155mph. Depending on the Audi S3 engine size the official average fuel consumption is 40.9mpg. There's also the Audi S3 Sportback, which has five-doors and gives more space for passenger and luggage. It also has a longer wheel base. The new Audi S3 engine is 2.0 TFSI which is also new to the lineup. The only common things between this new Audi S3 engine is the size of 1,984cc. The new Audi S3 engine allows you choose different driving modes that increase the throttle and gearchange response according to conditions and preference.
